International development work is carried out to implement solutions to problems identified in developing countries.
Career opportunities are diverse since international development encompasses a range of sectors: administration, healthcare, education, gender equality, disaster preparedness, infrastructure, economics, livelihoods, human rights, forced migration, security, conflict and the environment.
Job opportunities within these sectors are even broader: from project managers to technical experts, from researchers to policy analysts just to name a few. Policy analysis and design, programming, project management, monitoring and evaluation, communication and advocacy are only a few of the typical activities carried out by a development worker.
No matter what development job you are pursuing, you first need to build a solid basis of knowledge and develop specific skills to stand better chances on the international development market.
Interactivi training was designed to respond to those needs in a practical manner. Apart from consistent information and insight on how the international development framework works, how it functions and who are the main actors in development, you will be working with key instruments used by international donors in development cooperation. You will also receive guidance and insights on how to increase your chances of getting a job in development. Access to Interactivi alumni platform will be granted automatically after training finishes to facilitate networking amongst alumni from various countries.
